A Race For Hope

The Story: A Chance to Grow Myles Reeves is a young boy who fell off the growth charts a couple of years ago due to a rare genetic diagnosis, duplication of chromosome 12. Every day, he faces the challenges of a body that isn’t keeping up with other kids— growing and experiencing life like everyone else. Doctors believe there is a trial treatment that could help him grow, giving him a real chance at a healthier future. The treatment is expensive, and his family cannot cover the costs alone after battling with insurance for coverage & multiple denials for approval.

The Dream Hunt Foundation is hosting a fundraiser to help raise money to cover costs of this treatment. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly into Myles’ disability savings account through ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience) Act ensuring he gets the care he needs now and the support he deserves in the future.

The fundraiser, Rubber Ducky Races, which will be held on April 18th starting at 4:30pm. Adopt a duck to join one of the multiple races across the pond at Dream Hunt. If you adopt a duck, then that is your entry to the event. There will be prizes for the top 3 ducks to finish the race first.
